On Saturday 2/10/2021 Palaeontologica Belgica will host the Paleontologica Belgica & Louis De Pauw Award Ceremony. Two distinct awards will be handed out; the Palaeontologica Belgica award and the Louis De Pauw award.

The first award (Palaeontologica Belgica award) will be given to a professional paleontologist whose research and efforts to promote Belgian paleontology did not remain unnoticed. The second award, (the Louis De Pauw award) will be given to a citizen scientist whose contributions to Belgian paleontology made an important impact. Scivil will also give a presentation on citizen science.

This award ceremony will take place at the VUB campus Etterbeek (Auditorium Q), Triomflaan 44, 1050 Brussels.
