The project 'amai!' (Flemish exclamation for 'wow!') aims to involve citizens in the development of new artificial intelligence applications, by bringing together citizens, civil society organisations and AI-experts around 4 main themes (climate, mobility, health and work) and with an overarching theme of digital inclusion.
For each theme, a smart AI-solution is developed, based on a societal issue that was raised by citizens in the idea-collecting phase. The development of the smart AI-solution is always in cooperation with citizens, AI-experts and civil society organisations.
Het Kenniscentrum Data & Maatschappij is de centrale hub voor de juridische, maatschappelijke en ethische aspecten van datagedreven applicaties en AI-toepassingen. Het Kenniscentrum brengt kennis en ervaring rond dit thema samen op maat van de industrie, het beleid, het middenveld en het brede publiek.
Scivil is het Vlaamse Kenniscentrum voor Citizen Science. Scivil wil wetenschappers, burgers, beleidsinstellingen en bedrijven verenigen, ondersteunen en informeren voor meer burgerwetenschap in Vlaanderen.
