Who are the citizens participating in citizen science projects in Flanders? What motivates them and what challenges do they encounter?

We are mapping the experiences of citizen scientists. These are ordinary people who, without any specific scientific background, have contributed to a scientific project.

Are you the initiator of a citizen science project? Do you know any citizen scientists? Then you can help us by sending them the questionnaire. Afterwards, we can share the results about your project with you. Curious about the results of our previous survey of citizen scientists? Read them here.
