I make videos for scientists. On the one hand, I like to unburden scientists in video production, but mostly I want to reduce the distance between the world of science and the rest of the world. How? By giving science a face, by bringing the people involved into the picture and supporting them so that a spark spreads to the viewer.
Bringing science closer to the world is my mission. Video can be used in different phases and for different reasons in a citizen science project. For instance, to recruit new participants, to instruct participants and to share results. With video you can clearly explain difficult subjects and, secondly, video also has a powerful emotional power.
