Natuurpunt Studie is the operating level of Natuurpunt that stimulates nature studies (i.e. the study of species, their ecology and habitats) within all the sections of the association (departments, management teams, working groups...), but also beyond, in a Flemish and international context.
We are convinced that humans need biodiversity. Not only do we as humans depend on ecosystems, but nature also has an important intrinsic value, in particular the welfare of plants and animals. Nature and biodiversity are under more pressure than ever, which is why we have made it our main goal to protect them. We want to achieve this with people and with knowledge. There is a need for support for nature and we hold knowledge and information with which we can amaze and involve the public. Figures and knowledge about biodiversity are essential for its conservation.
