The ScienceUs-CROPS Final Conference, “From Local Action to European Impact: The ScienceUs-CROPS Journey in Citizen Science Upscaling”, will take place on 25 November 2026 in Athens, Greece. This conference will showcase the upscaling journeys of the five ScienceUs projects and explore how citizen science can contribute to inclusive policymaking and sustainable impact across Europe. The programme includes presentations, practical insights, a matchmaking workshop, and networking opportunities for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

The CS-NL 5th Network Day will take place on 29 January 2027 at Bibliotheek Neude (Utrecht, the Netherlands). This anniversary edition of Citizen Science Netherlands’ annual network event brings together citizen science practitioners, researchers and policymakers for a day of networking, interactive workshops and knowledge exchange.

The Citizen Science 4 Health Conference 2027 will take place from 19 to 21 April 2027 in Odense, Denmark. This international event, organized by Odense University Hospital, the University of Southern Denmark, and the ECSA Working Group on Citizen Science for Health, highlights citizen involvement and diverse participatory research approaches in the health domain. The preparatory committee is currently developing the programme and the call for abstracts.

CS4Water Conference 2027 is an international conference on citizen science and water, taking place from 29 June to 1 July 2027 at the Emeris Newlands Campus in Cape Town, South Africa. As the first edition to be held on the African continent, the event will focus on strengthening knowledge from the Global South, integrating citizen science into education, advancing digital innovation in data systems, and building trust in citizen science within policy and governance.
