The Water Network Day 2026 brings together professionals, policymakers, and other water stakeholders on 27 October 2026 at VAC Ghent to explore the challenges and opportunities for Flemish water policy towards 2027. This networking afternoon focuses on knowledge exchange, dialogue, and interactive workshops, including a session on citizen science and how citizens can contribute to awareness raising, agenda setting, and data collection related to water challenges.

On 24 and 25 October, amai! will be at FTI Expeditie Next Festival in Mechelen's Nekkerhal. On Thursday 4 June, a follow‑up meeting will take place in Leuven, building on the workshop “Building citizen science together in Flanders”. Participants will jointly shape the mission, objectives and organisational structure of a new Flemish consultation platform and initiate first concrete actions. Those who did not attend the 21 April workshop but wish to actively contribute to the future of citizen science in Flanders are warmly invited to register.
